Due to the high cost of dog bite liability claims, some insurance companies have blacklisted certain breeds and are refusing to provide homeowners insurance to those who own these dog breeds.  As a result, Armadillo Properties does not allow the following dangerous dog breeds in any of their managed properties: 

Akita	Pit Bull
Presa Canario(Canary dogs)	Rhodesian Ridgeback
Doberman Pinscher	German Shepherd
Huskies	Karelian Bear Dog
Alaskan Malamute	Chow Chow
Rottweiler	Wolf Hybrid
Staffordshire Bull Terrier

In accordance with the lease provisions, ANY tenant found to have an unauthorized pet in their property, even TEMPORARILY, will be subject to a $100 fine and a $10 per day fine until the pet is removed.

In addition, Tenants with unauthorized pets may be subject to immediate eviction.
